About
I am fa‘atama, a trans man.
When I was young, I told my grandpa that I’m a boy. He started giving me boys’ work, to see if I could pass his test. When I did, he treated me like a man.
After he passed away, my grandma gave me all his underwear, and his favorite aloha shirt, and told me that he had saved them for me.
Now, I am a leader of The Rogers, the first organized group of fa‘atama in the Pacific Islands. We work together like a family, and we want our family to grow.
