I am an unapologetic faʻafafine, or transgender woman, of Samoan descent now living in Seattle.

My culture embraces me through artistic mediums that allow me to express my creativity, but denies me the same courtesy when roles, titles, and colonized beliefs come into play.

Creating and continuing to occupy foreign spaces fuels my passion, and I hope we are able to forgive the transgressions of our yesterdays and embrace healing for our tomorrows.
