I identify as an i-Kiribati, a binabinaaine – a general term for gay, bisexual and transgender – as well as a human rights advocate and single father.

I have support in my family and community, and strive to eradicate the abuse, discrimination, and marginalization that still plague our society.

My dream is to live in a village where one does not have to be afraid of being who they are.
